The Surfcasting Association is proud to announce its upcoming “Pairs Development” competition, taking place on Saturday, 6 December.

In this unique event, each team will consist of one senior or more experienced angler paired with a less experienced participant. Together, they will fish within a designated 20-metre zone. Full assistance and support may be provided by either member of the pair throughout the competition.

Purpose

This competition is designed to:

• Develop the skills of junior and emerging anglers
• Introduce new participants to the sport of Surfcasting in a supportive, hands-on environment

Entry for this round is free of charge.

Schedule

• Registration: 6:30 AM
• Competition Start: 8:00 AM
• Competition End: 11:00 AM

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

• Most Fish Caught
• Biggest Fish
• Most Enthusiastic Team
